Rt. Rev. Miki Hans Abia has officially taken the reins as the 7th Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), succeeding Rt. Rev. Dr. Fonki Samuel Forba. As the new leader, Rev. Miki will serve a five-year term, guiding the church under the theme "Strengthening; Edifying: A Call to Consolidate and Accommodate One Another." In his first sermon, he reflected on Acts 15:36-41, emphasizing his commitment to serving the congregation as a servant, with God as his Master." I am your servant but you are not my master. God is my master whom I shall render my accounts." Rt Rev. Miki told the congregation at the institution and induction ceremony

Rev. Abia brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as Synod Clerk since 2019. His leadership will focus on advancing the church's educational, healthcare, and community development initiatives across Cameroon.

As the PCC's new leader, Rev. Abia faces the challenge of navigating a divided society, where the church plays a vital role in promoting peace, reconciliation, and social justice. With his gentle yet firm leadership style, he is well-positioned to build on the legacy of his predecessor and lead the church toward a brighter future.
