Mezam III Section Bali Celebrates Peace, Assures Paul Biya of victory

The Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) marked a major milestone on Monday, March 24th, 2025, celebrating its 40th anniversary in Mezam III Section at the Bali Municipal grand stand. The ruby jubilee coincides with a significant year for Cameroon - the presidential elections.

Mayor Wandum Ernest Bunga, who serves as both the CPDM section president for Mezam III and the mayor of the Bali Municipal council, expressed optimism about the party's prospects in the forthcoming presidential elections. He attributed his confidence to the youths of Bali, who have aligned themselves with the vision of national president Paul Biya, that of peace and development.

The mayor praised the Bali youths for embracing peace and rejecting violence. "We are celebrating with a lot of enthusiasm, although the 40 years have not been easy... I love them for taking the decision to turn their backs against violence, deceit, and distortion of historical facts within our country" the section President said.


Mayor Wandum Ernest Bunga says victory of the CPDM party in the forthcoming elections is assured, owing the ground works that have been sufficienly done over the last few years. 

Mayor Wandum said; "I expect that in the forthcoming elections, this drastic change in mindset, this return to reason within Bali should be reflected in the resounding victory we are going to give our champion in the forthcoming election. We are also committed to regaining the council for our great national party when the time comes. We a re fully mobilized to achieve this feat." The section President emphasized 

Founded in Bamenda on March 24th, 1985, the CPDM has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of ongoing crises in the region. Despite the challenges, the party has successfully led the Bali Municipal council, steering the community toward normalcy and development even in crisis.



The CPDM has been a dominant force in the country's political landscape, with President Paul Biya leading the party to victory in several elections . As the country prepares for the 2025 presidential elections, the CPDM's 40th anniversary serves as a reminder of the party's enduring presence and influence in Cameroon's politics.
