After emerging overall Second, Bamenda II Mayor, Chenwi Peter Supports CMF Ntamulung


CMF Ntamulung officially receives Prize and National Runners Up 

Christians of Presbyterian Church Ntamulung have celebrated the Christian Men's Fellowship for emerging overall second at the December 2024 rally.

The rally that brought together 824 groups from Cameroon and beyond, saw CMF Ntamulung record outstanding results.


The men of mettle scored 95.3% in Bible Quiz, 9.25/10 in brain trust, 5/5 in song scripts 15/15 in Liturgical singing. Overall, they recorded 196.6/200.

The outstanding results recorded were celebrated in songs and dance as Paul Ngu Tah-, National Secretary of Men's Work and Peter Chenwi, Mayor of Bamenda II Council officially handed the flag of CMF to the group.

In his address to the group and the Church, the Mayor of Bamenda II Council, Chenwi Peter said; "This group is so dear to my heart. I have been a member of CMF Ntamulung since 2006 and I am very pleased with the outstanding results the group is recording. We have taken the National second this year, the same position we took last year. I have come here today to encourage us that we have to win the conveted prize at the end of 2025." The Mayor said.

He went further to support the group with a cash envelope of 300,000 Francs.

Mayor Chenwi Peter supported by Deputy Mayors of other councils 

Supported by Annatou Abrams, President of female Mayors of the North West, Lum Chesi Miriam, 1st Deputy Mayor of Bafut and Abong Esther, second Deputy Mayor of Tubah, Chenwi Peter pledged to support the church with one hundred bags of cement as the church glides towards the construction of major infrastructure in 2025.

CMF Members with the Presbyterian Secretary for Mezam

In appreciation, the Presbyterian Secretary for Mezam, Teneng Lucas appreciated the Mayor for previous contributions and prayed for higher heights in his political venture. "God sees the good work you're doing in his vineyard and God will open more doors for you. No storm shall pull you down." Rev Teneng said.

He used the opportunity of the CMF Victory to encourage other groups to represent PC Ntamulung in a similar fashion during their own rallies.

The Rev Paul Ngu Tah

Preaching from Luke 8:4-15, the Rev Paul Ngu Tah encouraged the Christians to be steadfast in the works of the Lord and avoid any form of distractions.

"Le the times not catch us off guard. Let us be ready. If you hear God's word, harden not your heart" was the catch phrase of his sermon to the Christians.

The handing of the CMF Prize to PC Ntamulung is one week away from the grand fundraiser to build major infrastructure for the church.
