Ntambag Brothers Common Initiative Group of Old Town Bamenda has ushered in a new era with the installation of Bobga Valentine Tita as its new president. The ceremony took place on December 4, 2025, marking a significant milestone for the group, especially since its constitution was recently amended to introduce a two-year renewable term for executives.
Tita's victory was decisive, winning the election with a landslide over his opponent meanwhile Prof. Mbanga Laurence Akei also emerged victorious to become the Vice president. Tita's triumph is seen as a natural progression, given his 17-year tenure as Minutes Secretary under outgoing president Ndimbu Polycarp.
Polycarp expressed confidence in Tita's abilities, saying, "I'm happy handing over to my new president. I'm confident in him because we've worked together, and I know his capabilities. He's already mastered the system, and his experience with humanitarian organizations has prepared him to lead Ntambag Brothers." Ndimbu said.
In his acceptance speech, President Bobga Valentine Tita expressed gratitude to his members, saying, "I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me. I take this as a challenge to serve the entire Ntambag community. We'll continue our humanitarian activities, providing assistance to the needy and deserving."
Ntambag Brothers are known for their goodwill and reputation, demonstrated by their donation of food supplies to tenants of a house razed by fire in Old Town in 2024. The installation ceremony was filled with excitement and optimism, as Tita is expected to lead the group to greater heights during his two-year term.
Overall, Ntambag Brothers Common Initiative Group is a group of goodwill men of Oldtown Bamenda who have the Ntambag community at heart to provide vital assistance to the needy, people with special abilities and the downthrodened .
Their exceptional assistance to the vulnerable to send their children to school, routine health campaigns are some of their remarkable achievements in the recent past.
