Of the 7,250.8 Billion Francs tabled before the National Assembly of Cameroon, 10 Ministers defended their draft budgets before the Committee on Finance and the Budget.
From 10am, Wednesday 4th December 2024, the Ministers presented their priority projects for 2025 in the committee chaired by Hon Rosette Ayayi.
These are the budgetary allocations
. The Ministry of Commerce, budget defended : 11 billion 361 million CFA francs
. The Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries, budget defended : 52 billion 984 million CFA francs
Magdalene Tchuente, Minister of Scientific Research
. The Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation, budget defended : 29 billion 906 million CFA francs
. The Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development, budget defended : 11 billion 880 million CFA Francs
Prof Nalova Lyonga, Minister of Secondary Education
. The Ministry of Secondary Education, budget defended : 584 billion 166 million CFA francs
Achilles Bassiliken III
. The Ministry of Small and Medium Size Enterprises, Social Economy and Crafts, budget defended : 16 billion 489 million CFA francs
Celestine Ketcha Courtes of Urban Development
. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, budget defended: 157 billion 755 million Francs
Emmanuel Ngannou Djoumessi of Public Works
. The Ministry of Public Works, budget defended 638 billion 576 million CFA francs.
Gaston Eloundou Essomba of Water and Energy
. The Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, budget defended : 493billion 358 million CFA francs
Minette Libom Li Likeng of Posts and Telecommunications
