The final two candidates for the top job of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, PCC will emerge from the Synod committee meeting ongoing at PRESFLATS Synod office in Buea.
The Synod committee meeting, the last to be chaired by the outgoing moderator, Rt Rev Dr Fonki Samuel Forba, has been placed under the theme; "The Synod of Assurance."
At the close of the current Synod committee meeting, one of the nominees for the post of Moderator and one for the post of Synod clerk will be dropped from the race.
Nominees for the post of Moderator are: the current Synod clerk, Rev Miki Hans, Rev Njongai Polycarp and Rev Numfor Godwin.
For Synod clerk, the nominees are; Rev Ayuk Solomon Etta, Rev Mokoko Simon Elive, Rev Mokoko Thomas Mbue.
The Synod committee is made up of the Moderator, the Synod clerk, Heads of Departments and Movements, National Presidents of Movements and Presbyterial Secretaries.
The current Synod will culminate on Monday 18th November 2024 with the elections of the New Moderator and Synod clerk.
