Militants and sympathizers of the CPDM in Mezam IV Bafut have celebrated the ascension of President Paul Biya to the supreme Magistracy of the state in style.
The celebrations were exceptionally colorful as the bigwigs of the party led by their Section President, Ngwakongoh Lawrence went fishing again.
His clairvoyant leadership, bottom-top approach in development while projecting the ideals of the CPDM which stands for peace and development, has caught the attention of yet another SDF member.
From Mantah in Bafut, Pa Ayonghe, a senior SDF ward chairperson, decided to leave the party he has been militating to join the CPDM.
In his words, "the CPDM is a party for development. I have seen what has been done over the last few months to advance peace and foster development in Bafut and I am amazed. That is why I came to join the bandwagon and together, we will take Bafut where it is supposed to be."
"As a senior ward person of the SDF, I will try to convince those who were with me in this new light that I have found. My coming to join the CPDM is the hand work of the Section President and Madam Medjang Jacqueline." Pa Ayonghe told the Observer.
A visibly happy section President, Ngwakongoh Lawrence, celebrated the decision of Pa Ayonghe to join the CPDM.
"He has seen what the CPDM stands for. It is peace and development. What we have done over the last four years is to ensure that we carry out participatory development by working with the development associations to meet the needs of the people. This has been admired by so many people who are coming onboard to support us. I will also say a big thank you to the Elites of Bafut who have worked with me to achieve this feat." Ngwakongoh told The Observer.
The CPDM party in Mezam IV Bafut used the celebrations of President Paul Biya's ascension to the supreme Magistracy to call on him to continue to pilot the destiny of Cameroon that has been stable and prosperous.
Celebrating under the theme: "" Let us mobilize as one behind President Paul Biya to ensure stability and progress of Cameroon around the ideals of peace and National Unity," the drums and traditional dances were used to convey hope to the people.
The presentation of Pa Ayonghe, comes exactly one year after another SDF party bigwig left the SDF to join the CPDM in Bafut.
