Bamenda: Newly Promoted Police Officers Receive Epaulettes

A total of 40 Police Officers have been promoted to higher grades in Bamenda.

A ceremony to award them with new Epaulettes took place on Friday 29th November 2024 at the esplanade of the Senior Divisional office, Bamenda.

Chaired by the Senior Divisional officer for Mezam, Simon Emile Mooh under the watch of the Regional Delegate of National Security for the North West, Elung Wilson Njume, the 40 officers received their promotion with pride.

Recipients 

The most senior Epaulette awarded this day, was the Senior Officer of Police with three golden stars. Five officers were promoted to Second grade officer of police, three to Senior Inspectors of Police, 18 to Second grade inspectors of Police, 11 to senior police Constables and two to Second Grade police constables.

While congratulating the officers for their brilliance and hard work, the SDO for Mezam challenged them to be diligent and protect the territorial integrity of Cameroon.

 "The Epaulette award is a sign that the head of state recognized that they're hardworking in a context of crisis and insecurity here in Bamenda, they're trying to do their best to protect the population and their properties.

"We are expecting a lot from them but the main goal is that they should secure the territorial integrity of the country." Simon Emile Mooh said.

The police officers saluted the President of the Republic for promoting them to higher heights and pledged to work tirelessly for the nation Cameroon.
