Cameron's President. Paul Biya has on several occasions called on the Cameroonian diaspora to either invest back at home or open investment opportunities that can help the populace back home.
In one of such outings, a Cameroonian business guru, Emmanuel Ntoko has promised to connect the Mayor of Bamenda II council, Chenwi Peter to other councils in Aurora, Ontario Canada.
During their discussion, Emmanuel Ntoko pledged to help other Mayors from Cameroon to partner with councils in Aurora Ontario Canada to improve on social amenities and infrastructure.
A message that left the Mayor upbeat as he continues his search of partners and councils that can partner with the council.
The Mayor is proposing the following areas of interest:
Manpower and Human Resources Development.
- Agriculture.
- Education.
- Waste Management.
- Hygiene and Sanitation.
- Tourism.
- Rural Development.
- Environment and Climate Change.
- Road Maintenance.
- Technological Development.
- General Council Management.
And in return, the council will be providing the following to the councils
The deployment of manpower from Bamenda II Municipality for the Agriculture Sector in Aurora.
- Provision of artifacts for Museums within the City of Brampton.
- Provision of some agricultural products from Bamenda II Municipality.
- Provision of Quartzite and other minerals
Emmanuel Ntoko after listening to Mayor Chenwi Peter noted that this will not only be a win-win partnership but they will extend their tentacles to the rest of the country.
