The champions of the North west regional football league for the 2023/2024 season have received fitness support from veteran Indomitable Lion Timothée Atouba on Friday 2nd August 2024. The support comes in after day one matches of the national inter-pools taking place in Yaounde after Option Sports Academy of Bamenda suffered a 2goals to 1 defeat in the hands of Union Supportive D'Abongmbang at the FECAFOOT Technical center in Odza.
According to Atouba; "the club suffered fatique after taking the lead in the game and their opponents had to use that weakness to equalize then finally winning. The youthfulness of the players and the quality of their talent caught my attention which I think physical fitness will be of added advantage so that they can resist their opponents to the last minute"Atouba told the Observer.

The champions of the Northwest Region look forward to make an outstanding performance by grabbing all three points in their next game on Sunday August 4th 2024 at the FECAFOOT Technical center in Odza where they shall be clashing against Botafogo of Douala.

It should be noted that Options Sports Academy is last in Pool A with zero point and minus 1goal while Union Sportive D'Abongmbang tops the group with 3points and plus 1goal.
Fans of Options Sports Academy remain steadfast with the hope that their champion bounces into winning ways on Sunday.
