Finals of the 2024 edition of Mankon Unity Cup 

The Management of Ntambeng Cooperative Credit Union Limited has awarded books to participants of the Mankon Unity Cup while promising to accompany them in the setting up of fish farms across the village.

Speaking at the award night in Ntaw, Mankon, the President of Ntambeng Cooperative Credit Union Limited, Ndonwi Derick was categorical that the Credit Union is the gateway to financial freedom with so many schemes offered to alleviate the sufferings of farmers.

As concerns back-to-school, he called on account owners as well as new customers to make use of the back-to-school loans which are offered at very affordable rates and ensure that their children and students are in school on Day one.

To accompany them, Ntambeng credit Union Limited has produced branded books and placed them at the disposal of its members.

Inside The Mankon Unity Cup 

Prince Muma Angwafo III, Cup Donor 

The finals of the 2024 edition of the Mankon Unity Cup was played on Sunday 25th August 2024 pitting Mile 7 FC VS Nitop IV FC.

The fiercely contested encounter ended with Mile 7 FC winning by 4 goals to 1 to back home the coveted prize.

The finals also witnessed the crowning of the New Miss and Mister Mankon who were called upon to preach the message of unconditional forgiveness to all the ends of Mankon.

The Mankon Unity Cup, sponsored by Prince Muma Angwafo III and his company, Manplanet Corporation Limited, called on the sons and daughters of Mankon to unconditionally forgive one another and forge together as a common unit, with one idea which is the development of Mankon and the advancement of its rich cultural heritage.

Showcasing food staples from Cassava 

Prince Muma Angwafo III encouraged participating teams and players to delve into fish farming as a means of fighting against poverty and empowerment of the youth.

To present the potentials of the agric industry in Mankon, there was an exhibition showcasing the different food varieties that can be gotten from Cassava. A total of 16 dishes were successfully made from Cassava. Other agricultural and fisheries products were also on display.

Cash prices and medals were handed to the meritorious teams and individuals.
