Without the necessary medical intervention, Marie-Anne is at grave risk of losing her sight completely. Her mother, Mafong Laura, was present during the recent donation event and expressed her profound gratitude for the HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION's pledge to cover the cost of Marie-Anne's eye operation, which is scheduled to take place at the end of July. The mother of Little Marie-Anne present at the orphanage during the donations and the pledge to restore her daughters site expressed her deep appreciation for the kind heart extension of love towards her daughter who is at the verge of loosing her sight. " I have been praying for God to intervene for my daughter and I think that God has answered my prayers so I give God all the thanks". It is worth noting that Marie-Anne's condition is a generic one as her mother and siblings had also gone through the same condition.
