Compassionate Hands Uplift Vulnerable Lives: HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION Ignites Hope For Little Way Orphanage

HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION Donating To Little Way Orphanage.

In a remarkable display of benevolence and unwavering commitment to uplifting the lives of the less fortunate, the HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION has stepped up to support the children residing at the Little Way Orphanage in the Bamenda III area of Upper Bayele. On Sunday, July 14th, 2024, this remarkable non-profit organization made a generous and much-needed donation of essential items to the orphanage, responding swiftly and compassionately to the needs they had identified during a previous visit on July 10th.

The donated items, which included mattresses, blankets, soap, sanitary pads, dresses, slippers, rice, vegetable oils, and a water purifier will undoubtedly make a profound and lasting impact on the daily lives of the orphans under the care of the Little Way Orphanage. Koh Juliette, the CEO of the HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION, expressed her deep personal commitment to supporting these vulnerable children, stating, "My aim is to assist orphans in my own little way I can, whether through food, clothing, educational materials, or even scholarships. These children deserve a chance at a brighter future, and I am dedicated to ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive."

Rev. Sr Benedicta Muffuh of the Little                      Way Orphanage.

The Little Way Orphanage, which has been operational since 2007 under the guidance of the compassionate and tireless Rev. Sr Benedicta Muffuh, has long been a beacon of hope for orphans, the needy, and vulnerable children in the community. For the past 17 years, the orphanage has relied heavily on the generosity of goodwill donors to ensure the well-being and basic needs of the children in its care. Rev. Sr Benedicta Muffuh was overwhelmed by the HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION's thoughtful and timely intervention, particularly as she has faced her own health challenges that have made it increasingly difficult to meet the children's basic needs on a consistent basis.

     Little Marie-Anne with eye defect.

One of the children residing at the Little Way Orphanage, the young and vibrant Marie-Anne, has been diagnosed with a debilitating eye condition - cataracts. Without the necessary medical intervention, Marie-Anne is at grave risk of losing her sight completely. Her mother, Mafong Laura, was present during the recent donation event and expressed her profound gratitude for the HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION's pledge to cover the cost of Marie-Anne's eye operation, which is scheduled to take place at the end of July. This act of compassion and generosity will undoubtedly restore hope and improve the quality of life for this vulnerable child.

Mafung Laura. Mother to Marie-Anne.

The mother of Little Marie-Anne present at the orphanage during the donations and the pledge to restore her daughters site expressed her deep appreciation for the kind heart extension of love towards her daughter who is at the verge of loosing her sight. " I have been praying for God to intervene for my daughter and I think that God has answered my prayers so I give God all the thanks". It is worth noting that Marie-Anne's condition is a generic one as her mother and siblings had also gone through the same condition.

Kouh Juliette, the driving force behind the HELP FOR THE HELPLESS CHARITY ASSOCIATION, further emphasized her openness to collaborating with other well-wishers and philanthropists who share the same desire to support orphanages and vulnerable children in the region, which has faced recent unrest and significant challenges. Recognizing the importance of transparency and a non-profit approach, Kouh Juliette Akuchu stated, "I am the lone sponsor of this philanthropic project, but I am open to well-wishers who wish to push through their support to motherless homes and the vulnerable children of the society."

Looking ahead to the future, Kouh Juliette Akuchu has pledged to continue her unwavering support for the Little Way Orphanage, including plans for much-needed renovations, repainting, the purchase of new beds, and the installation of a desperately required water tank. This remarkable act of compassion and long-term commitment serves as a testament to the transformative power of community-driven initiatives in uplifting the lives of the less fortunate.

Orphanages like the Little Way Orphanage play a vital and irreplaceable role in providing a safe haven, nurturing environment, and opportunities for growth and development for children who have faced significant challenges and adversity in their young lives.
