Minister Ngoh Ngoh at CAMTEL's stand at PROMOTE
The Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, H.E Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, has lauded the General Manager of Cameroon Telecommunications, CAMTEL, Judith Yah Sunday Epse Achidi, for efforts made in transforming the strategic state corporation.
He made the positive remarks Friday February 23 in Yaounde. This was during a visit at the 9th edition of the ongoing International Exhibition for Enterprises, SMEs and Partnerships of Yaounde, PROMOTE.
Minister Ngoh Ngoh was accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, alongside other officials.
CAMTEL’s imposing and attractive stand was privileged to be among the few that Minister Ngoh Ngoh and his delegation visited at PROMOTE.
CAMTEL General Manager was on hand to receive the high-profile visitor.
Judith Yah Sunday Epse Achidi walked the Unity Palace scribe round CAMTEL’s stand and briefed him on the company’s strategic services.
The General Manager also presented the incumbent telecoms operator’s network international, regional and national infrastructure map to Minister Ngoh Ngoh.
Visibly marveled by CAMTEL GM’s expertise during the presentation, Minister Ngoh Ngoh, declared:
“Congratulations Madam the General Manager, your stand is wonderful and your work is very well appreciated”.
Prior to the visit of Minister Ngoh Ngoh and other officials, the General Manager had also visited the stand of the corporation to evaluate what her foot soldiers are exhibiting to visitors.
She had equally been taken round the stand by staff who also briefed her on the corporation’s network infrastructure map, services offered and products displayed for sale.
CAMTEL Stealing show at PROMOTE
The imposing exhibition stand of CAMTEL, designed in the company’s blue and white colours, has remained a major force of attraction to visitors at PROMOTE 2024.
The corporation’s staff at ever ready and hospitable staff have been receiving and explaining the company’s services and products in the market to hundreds of visitors daily.
Other workers at the stand are ready to respond to worries of visitors as well sale the company’s gadgets on display.
At the official opening of the fair, the Director of Communications at CAMTEL, Eric Benjamin Lamere, explained that the company is simply respecting tradition by participating at trade exhibition.
He said the fair coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary is also an avenue to showcase CAMTEL’s products and services.
“We are showcasing our strength in the sector. We have solutions to the mobile sector through our brand, Blue. We also have solutions to the fixed sector through our fibre optic,” Lamere explained.
Research Officer at the Communication Division of CAMTEL, Ajumane Akam Francis, had also explained that the company is exhibiting the three components of its activities viz; transport unit, the business unit fixed and the business unit mobile.
