North West Executive bureau of Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) headed by Mekom Samuel has been officially installed Friday March 10, 2022 by the Governor of the region Adolphe Lele L’ Afrique who challenged them to be Game Changers.
During the installation at the conference hall of the Regional Delegation of Public Works, the Governor further called on them to bring change in the Region which has been plagued by the sociopolitical crisis in the region. He encouraged the youth to support the newly installed bureau 100% so that they will be able to achieve their desired results, and call on them all in the region to be peace builders/ promoters to eventually recover normalcy and discover the wealth of the region.
Mekom Samuel receives the blessing of North West chief Executive
Mekom Samuel Taleh was voted Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in Bamenda during the regional elections. He stood unopposed after the candidacy of Tumenta Peter was disqualified by the electoral commission and won 39 out of 42 votes succeeding Nchia Bertrand to pilot the affairs of the North West bureau of the Cameroon National Youth Council for the next three years.
Mekom Samuel will work with Ayeah Charlotte as Vice President, Elvis Yuh as Secretary General, Wirba Relindis Vice SG, Asobo Tamba Treasurer, Ndresop Rukayatou Vice Treasurer, Ntumnui Elvis Adviser 1, Kudi Sinny Adviser 2, Mboh Bernadect Auditor, Dapen Clovis auditor 2.
Fadimatou Iyawa Ousmanou President of Cameroon National Youth Council who was present to witness the installation, highlighted that the council is ready to go extra miles to ensure the well being of youth through Moral and civic education for nation building
The newly installed bureau hopes to combat insecurity amongst youths by sensitizing them to be entrepreneurs as well as using the three years youth plan for the betterment of the country.

Mekom Samuel is the Vice YCPDM section President for Mezam 1A, Director General of SAMSYTECH Company Cameroon, Proprietor of a Nursery and Primary School, and High School Teacher GTHS Bamenda Nkwen amongst others.
