The Honourable member of Parliament for Bafut/Tubah constituency, Agho Oliver has donated benches and scientific boards to CCAST Bambili.
This after the school through the Principal, Fomunkum Christopher, made several requests to the MP to assist the school.
From deplorable laboratories, overcrowding in classrooms due to lack of benches, and lack of scientific boards, the students and staff expressed the great need to better their learning and teaching conditions.
On November 8, 2022, the MP visited the institution and took stock of its dire need for some urgent relief.
He told the students and staff that he will canvass for support to assist the school in the nearest future.
Two months after, 10 scientific boards and 50 Benches have been donated to the institution.
This is to the satisfaction of the Senior Prefect girl. Tata Livette says it has greatly contributed to reducing the congestion on campus, especially that of Lower Sixth.
Some empty classes can now receive students. This is to the joy and applause of the principal who notes that his first cry was heard and he will come for more.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Tubah, Tanjong Martin highlighted that this gesture means the MP wants more youth to be educated so that Tubah can have more MPs tomorrow.
With support from the Minister of Territorial Administration and Innovative Gaming of Thomas Nsongka, the MP says he will continue to make Tubah a great municipality within his constituency.
A remark applauded by the Divisional officer for Tubah who called on the MP to continue doing these marvelous works.
CCAST Bambili was created in 1962 and has produced several Ministers in Cameroon with five Ex-students currently serving in government. Amongst which is Nalova Lyonga, Minister of Secondary Education.
