This was among one of the several resolutions arrived at during the North West regional General Assembly held in Bamenda on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
During the General Assembly, delegates unanimously voted for Options Sports Bamenda to be promoted from the Mezam Divisional league to the Regional league.
Options Sports Bamenda will therefore join 21 other clubs to play the North West Regional league which is expected to start on March 27, 2022.
The President of the team, Neba Henry Awantoh during the General Assembly donated 90 match balls shared to all the 22 regional league clubs and 8 feminine clubs in the region.
Explaining the raison d'etre of the gesture, the Secretary General of FECAFOOT North West, Ndi Tsembom Elvis, said it is Neba Henry's way of promoting football in the country from the grassroots.
This is not the first time clubs in the North West region are benefitting from the gesture of the Options Sports president.
