While families are coming together to feast, the member of Parliament for Bafut-Tubah, Honorable Agho Oliver paid a surprise visit to the Tubah district hospital
At Postnatal ward
Speaking to the observer, the MP explained that he wanted to see the level of attention paid to patients during the Christmas feast and also assist them clear their bills
From the female ward, he moved to the male, children and postnatal wards where all the patients received a financial support from the MP
At female ward
Ma Awunti, a caregiver was very pleased with the gesture
"I want to sincerely thank the member of Parliament for coming to our aid on such a day. Many other people think only how to make merry. For him to chose to visit us, it gladdens my heart"
Other caregivers and patients shouted in praise thanking God for the MP
At male ward
He also observed the level of care given at the hospital and has promised patients that it will be upgraded in the nearest future
The impromptu visit by the MP adds to another visit he carried out at the Baptist integrated health centre, Sabga during the ramadan
