Fon Sehm Mbinglo of Nso votes in Kumbo

The paramount Fon of Nso, HRH Fon Sehm Mbinglo II,  has taken part in the elections of members of the house of chiefs

Voting this December 6, 2020 in Kumbo, the Fon voted to the amusement of hundreds of villagers who turned up to greet the Fon

Bui Division has 59 traditional rulers envisaged to take part in the polls and 195 councillors according to Elections Cameroon North West

The Fon of Nso is seen this day in public for the first time since 2018 when he was airlifted after two kidnaps

The paramount ruler ventured to return to his palace but was kidnapped on November 5th in Babessi. He was later released on November 10 and he returned to Bamenda

Fon Sehm Mbinglo II and Fon Angwafor III of Mankon are the two paramount Fons taking part in the elections of the House of chiefs

The house of chiefs which will exist only in the North West and South West regions will be made of 20 members and will serve as the upper house of assembly
