There was euphoria in Misaje Sub Division as Donga Mantung Scholarship Fund awarded scholarships to pupils and students.
The official launching of the third phase of the Donga Mantung scholarship Fund, which is funded by H.E. Dr. Fuh Calistus Gentry is aimed at encouraging meritocracy and back to school
At GBHS Misaje pupils and students received prizes for excellent performance in FSLC , CAP, GCE ‘O’ Level and ‘A’Level - ranging from 30.000 to 150.000 CFA.
Also, school kits and didactic materials were shared to basic and secondary education schools of the subdivision.
In order to fight the spread of COVID-19 and popularize government measures to fight the pandemic, anti COVID-19 kits were also shared to schools.
Teachers, students, pupils also used the occasion to applaud Dr. Fuh Calistus for promoting and encouraging education in Donga Mantung Division. The Minister
has promised to come up with another scheme to improve on the livelihoods of the youths in the Division.
From Misaje , scholarships, anti COVID-19 kits and didactic materials will be distributed in Ako Sub Division on Thursday October 8, 2020. While the Ndu ceremony for Nkambe and Ndu Subdivisions will be on Friday
The Donga Mantung Scholarship Fund, an initiative of Dr. Fuh Calistus, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, is in its third year.
He has raised the scholarship fund to 18 million FCFA for the 2020/2021 academic year.
