Business magnate and CEO of Dreamland Holdings, Edison Fru Ndi has been elected North West Regional Delegate of the chamber of commerce
He scored 6 of the 9 votes cast. One abstention The new Delegate has promised to make a difference.
"Bring businesses to understand the mission of the Chamber of Commerce and exploit the opportunities," he said
"The final result will be the growth of the economy. We have a gentleman agreement to serve one mandate. So that we all can have the opportunity to serve and to lead, " he furthered.
Prior to his election, Edison Fru Ndi has served as President of the North West contractors syndicate, NOWECOSY. His tenure saw a better execution and follow up of contractors in the North West
Edison Fru Ndi loves to give back to the community. The proprietor of the famous cozy Dreamland hotspot was amongst the first to donate cut-edge thermo flashes to several health facilities and schools in Bamenda, headquarters of the Northwest Region.
His philanthropic works have seen him dig a borehole to cut down on water-borne diseases in one of the city's neighborhoods and the lighting of some streets as a way to fight against insecurity.
Edison employs hundreds of young Cameroonians in his eatery, entertainment, and gravel production businesses.
His 2 billion worth production plant can produce 250 tonnes of gravel per hour
