The CEO of farmer's house, Peter Ngufor has saluted the Presidential plan for the reconstruction of the North West and South West Regions
Speaking in a press conference in Bamenda, Peter Ngufor says the fact that authorities are about to reconstruct is a clear indication that something is wrong and an indirect way to say they're sorry
The National coordinator of the Presidential plan, Paul Tasong had stated in Bamenda that they will have as first mission, the reconstruction of the mind. Peter Ngufor salutes this approach and further recommends that no one should be left behind
The four year old crisis that started with teachers and lawyers demanding an end to marginalisation, degenerated into an armed conflict. The blame has largely been placed on the doorsteps of Paul Biya, Cameroon Head of state
Peter Ngufor says Biya should not be blamed
"The President finds himself in a situation he never created. So he should find ways and means of solving the problem. To solve it he needs all Cameroonians on board"
The reconstruction process that will see some 90 billion to be spent has come under severe criticism. Some thinking a ceasefire would have been the most ultimate
"We are looking for ways and means to bring this unfortunate crisis to an end.
They should have been a ceasefire so that what is being constructed will not be destroyed. As we are starting with the mind, it's welcome"
A close to 14-day sensitisation and awareness campaign has taken place in the two English speaking Regions with a strong resolve to reignite the economies of these Regions
