The University of Bamenda, UBa has been disinfected by the Tubah council ahead of school resumption on June 1
The disinfection exercise, Saturday May 30th was carried out by the Army rescue unit under the supervision of the Mayor of Tubah, Tanjong Martin and the Member of Parliament for Mezam North, Hon Agho Oliver
The disinfection exercise was extended to other primary and secondary schools that make up the Tubah council area. A move the member of Parliament saluted
"Students will be coming from different places. This move is timely to ensure that everyone is safe," Hon Agho Oliver said
Pupils and students of examination classes are expected to regain their Classrooms this June 1. On March 17, Cameroon's Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute dished out barrier measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus amongst which was a suspension of classes nationwide
Universities are expected to respect measures put in place by government especially hand washing and social distancing
The lone state University in Cameroon's North West Region will be expecting to host more than 15000 students when lectures begin
Tubah Mayor, Tanjong Martin told the Press that the council is building a stiff wall against the virus in the municipality
