Traders of the Bamenda food market on June 5, benefitted from COVID-19 prevention kits from the Ramah Christian center.
The items comprises of six tap buckets for hand washing accompanied with liquid soap and face masks. The six buckets are to be placed in strategic areas in the market to decongest other points that already have wash hand buckets already.
The distribution process was equally an opportunity for the man of God to bless the market men and women of the food market with the word of God and words of prayers as they carry on with business activities in the midst of the corona virus.
According the General overseer of RAMAH Christian Center, Pastor Wara Solomon, "we are coming back to the food market today to give hope and to sensitize and create awareness, also to support particularly the buyam sellam."
"They seem like a neglected people in the society so we have come in our own little way to support and pray for them. Give them messages that will strengthen them" Pastor Wara continues
Receiving the gifts, the buyam sellams could be seen singing, dancing and showering praises at the man of God.
In addition to the sanitary kits were 5 bags of salt and 5 packets of Maggie shared to be shared amongst the buyam sellams of the Bamenda Food Market.
