Elements of the National Gendamerie have intercepted a truck transporting foodstuffs and marijuana at the Sabga hill
The cargo truck had beans, potatoes, Maize and some 45 bags of Marijuana hidden in the foodstuffs that were destined for Douala
North West Legion commander, Col Boum Bissoue Raymond explained that monitoring of vehicles playing the Kumbo-Bamenda stretch of road had come under severe scrutiny
"After months of investigations, these men did not know we were monitoring them till when we put out hands on them"
The driver and two of his "motorboys" of the truck have been remanded in custody while further investigations are carried out
The Legion commander also used the opportunity to call on the people of the Region to collaborate with the Gendarmes and bring these illegal business men to book
