UBa gets new director of Academic affairs

The University of Bamenda now has a new director of Academic affairs. He is Associate Professor, Victor Ngu Cheo, appointed Wednesday April 22, 2020 by a presidential decree appointing personnels in some state universities.


Before his appointment, he was head of the Printing Press at The University of Bamenda. He takes over from Ghogomu Julius Numbonui who has been called to other duties.

Victor Ngu Cheo is one of the brain behind the creation of the department of Communication and Development Studies in The University of Bamenda.

With the ongoing digitalisation process of learning and teaching in the university, the associate professor has a daunting task awaiting him in his new office.

The April 22nd presidential decree also appoints Mr Fogwe Zephania Nji as director at the directorate of development, physical plant and infrastructure of The University of Bamenda. Fogwe Zephania Nji before his appointment was Head of department for Geography and Planning in the Faculty of Arts.
