The North West Regional Delegate of Public Health Dr, Kingsley Che Nsoh has headed a mission to screen all those entering the North West Region through Matazem
The measure that started Saturday 21st March 2020 comes at the wake of 27 cases of the coronavirus discovered in Cameroon

Commuters have saluted the initiative undertaken by the Delegation; "preventing this virus from entering Bamenda is a good initiative by the authors" Asih Roland said
The entry point to Bamenda was chosen base on it's traffic flow. With recorded cases in Bafoussam, Douala and Yaounde.
Passengers are taught the WHO measures that they're expected to respect so that they don't get infected or transmit them to other persons
"We are screening them for temperatures and asking them questions. We have been able to screen 3100 persons with no suspected case", Dr Kingsley Che Nsoh
Cameroon has recorded 27 cases of the virus with the first two cases virus free
Globally, 283,061 cases have been recorded with some 11,826 deaths. 93, 535 cases recovering according to China NHC
