Many flees as Military retaliates after killing of one of theirs.

 Many inhabitants of Bova Bomboko in Mbonge sub division,  Meme division of the southwest region have been fleeing the area after military retaliated in search of separatist fighters in the area following the killing of a security guard after being ambush.
We gathered that the military recently storm the village shooting at random  and most of the villagers took to their heels and those who could not run were arrested and taken away.
Information we got from the area say the military is accusing the villagers of Bova Bomboko and Kukekombo of collaborating with separatist fighters to repeatedly ambush them on the road while on regular patrol.
In retaliation, the military has been carrying out raid in these villages and it's environs.
One of those who have been accused of collaborating with the separatist fighters is Menti Orock Formo who’s a farmer in Bova Bamboko. Menti Orock was also accused of being an Informant to separatist fighters.
When the military storm the area in search of Menti Orock Formo and others accused of connecting with the separatist fighters, he is said to have escaped and his whereabouts not known.
If arrested, Menti Orock Formo will be tried in a Military tribunal under the 2014 anti terrorism law whose maximum punishment is a death sentence. That is if he is not killed outrightly Like Many Others who have been victims of extrajurdicial killings within the context of the armed conflicts in the Northwest and Southwest regions.
Meanwhile as the crisis in the two English speaking regions continue which has Morphed into the armed conflicts, the government has continued it mercilessly crackdown on separatist supporters and others for being sympathetic to separatist fighters' cause.
Security operatives have been indiscriminately arresting anglophone activist and suspected activist. Sources say the arrested persons are being tortured and detailed under deplorable and inhamune conditions some have reportedly died  in detention.

Flash on Origin of Anglophone Crisis.
Nearly a hundred Anglophones were also arrested in the wake of the crisis that began in October 2016, and going by the United Nations reports, close a hundred and sixty [160.000] families are seeking refuge in neighboring Nigeria southern city of Ikom where close to five members of one family have been reported death under mysterious circumstances. The arm separatist group loyal to the secessionist movement called Ambazonia, it should be said is a self determination organization seeking the independence of the Southern Cameroons from the predominantly French speaking part of the country. Whose leader and cabinet are still under detention in Yaounde until now, followers say the body is a non-violent organization with the motto "The force of argument, not the argument of force. January 2017, the regime of 84 year old Paul Biya through the ministry of territorial administration and decentralization the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium. Both groups, it should be pointed out have overtly oppose what they term the marginalization of Anglophones and violations of the terms of union that brought British Southern Cameroons and French Cameroon together in 1961.
