The Confederation of African Football, CAF has announced that draws for the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations will be held in Cameroon on 18th September 2016.
This information is contained in a communique published on the website of CAF, www.cafonline.com also carries the conditions for granting of accreditaions (Saturday 27 August to Sunday 11 september 2016) for foreign and national media interested in the covering the 2016 AFCON draws.
Zimbabwe and Mali that replaces Equatorial Guinea who were sanctioned for fraud join hosts, Cameroon for the final tournament scheduled for 19th November to 3rd December 2016.
The eight contestestants will be grouped into two poles of four each.
As part of the preparations, the Cameroon Football Federation has summoned 26 lionesses for training to start on 9th September 2016 in Cameroon.
The other teams are; South Africa, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya (newcomer after defeating Algeria), and Nigeria
